The thing that makes it FUN is that you can't do it 'all the time'. It's not beaten to death and then grinded out.

What I WILL sign a petition for is for a longer period of access to this arena and for ALL special arena's to be on a yearly schedule without fail.

Fun for five minutes. I can wait till christmas for another arena.

It seems a bit mindless, I guess I can see why PVE people like it. It's the only way they can kill someone in pvp

I agree that after playing it with a team that had a 10 game winning streak last night, we came across a high-ground turtle group that wound up camping our res shrine. It was fun while people didn't know the tricks to winning...now it's more frustrating than enjoyable.

I'd love the see A-Net move the res shrine back to the starting point (to make camping much more difficult), but it's doubtful they could make that massive of a change in a short period of time.

Snowball arena on the other hand - THAT was fun and there really wasn't a trick to beating it.

I really don't know what you people are talking about. Camping the enemy's spawn is literally, one of the worst things you can possibly do in this arena. With the 5-second invulnerability after a rez, being at point blank range in a one-shot-kill game, the ressing team wipes the enemies in seconds.

This is really the one mistake a lot of teams make when they first begin playing, but soon learn and ping the map for people to fall back after wiping the enemy instead of camping their spawn.

Having something like this as an everyday event will cause events such as this to lose its flavor.

To me, this is one of the only valid reasons to not implement. That, and the opinion that it will decrease the amount of players playing other arenas, spreading out the playerbase.

To all the people who say this isn't for them, why are they even posting? It wouldn't hurt them in any way if this was a permanent arena.

I like the fact that we get tastes of this type of play only at special events.

I think for me it would lose some of it's shine if it was available always, but if others want it around all the time it sure wouldn't hurt me any.

Res shrine camping is a stupid move really, learn how to counter it and you get 6 free points for your team. And I dont really like the dragon arena, but id LOVE to see the wintersday arena come in game again.

/Signed as I dont see any difficulties for keeping it, and I guess theres people who like it =P

I see a lot of people saying holiday gimmick, but at the same time it is actually sort of a take off of dodgeball. I think it would be nice to have a strictly dodgeball arena and I love the decorations in Imperial, they make it even prettier than it was ^_^

although i would still play regular gw gvg and pvp more, this is still a fun way to kill some time with friends.

if not an arena, then at least an option in the guild hall so i dont have to keep rolling my mesmer to me/e and racking up a death count. lol i accidentalyl lost her survivor title playing dodgeball. (doh too 2 hours of sleep)
